Today's organizations
struggle with the challenge of maintaining secure and compliant information
sharing services, while also providing employees with a sense of privacy.
Mailntercept for Microsoft Exchange provides content security for all message
traffic handled within MS Exchange environments.
Mailntercept works as an
"Intercept Module" to filter messages circulating between MS Exchange
email users. As internal e-mails are sent, Mailntercept monitors for
inappropriate or sensitive information, and automates actions as defined by
administrators. Policy enforcement may include actions to block message
delivery, strip attachments, convert or remove harmful HTML embedded objects,
or redirect specified messages to other Compliance Security Servers, Antivirus,
Archival, or Secure Messaging solutions for additional analysis or application
of security policies. In addition to message content, Mailntercept
utilizes message properties and Active Directory properties to determine
appropriate message handling and routing.
Mailntercept utilizes a
simple management interface to apply complex rules for instant application of
security policies on all internal and external message traffic. As an
example, Mailntercept can be utilized to Convert HTML formatted messages into
Plain-Text format on every message, except when messages are generated by
trusted senders, such as external partners, internal email users, and/or
whenever messages are digitally signed.
